Rising Stars Youth FC was founded in 2014 and is based in Whitstable, Kent.

AN FA Charter Standard COMMUNITY CLUB

We have teams in the East Kent Youth League, Kent Girls and Ladies Football League, the Faversham and District Youth League, and the Ashford and District Youth League, from U7s to U16s, boys, girls, and mixed teams.

We are very proud to have been awarded FA Charter Standard status during our inaugural season, and in May 2016 we WON the Kent FA Charter Standard Club of the Year Award. This reflects our ongoing commitment to putting children at the centre of everything we do, and ensuring that they can develop football as well as life skills in a safe and fun environment.

The club provides weekly training sessions, friendlies, league fixtures and tournament games for children (boys and girls) from the age of 7.

Risers U14 Girls played their last home game of the season against Foots Cray this afternoon. Risers should have won the game easily but after being 2-0 up and missing a load of chances, it ended with a 2-2 draw. Frustrating result but the girls stuck together and dug in to secure a point. On Sunday it was a very competitive and hard fought match between two passionate sides seeing Ramsgate Yellow take an initial 1:0 lead against Risers U13 Blues. An incredible return shot from easily 60m and within our own half made it 1:1. A phenomenal rocket of a strike that left the keeper with no chance. A tight second half played out until a late corner found it’s way onto the skippers head and subsequently the back of the net to secure a 2:1 victory for Risers! Massive congratulations to Risers U13 Whites on their 2-1 win against Tankerton in the FDYFL Cup Final this afternoon . It was a tense 70 minutes! Risers had a brilliant first half, securing 2 early goals, and stepped up their defence second half as Tankerton continued to press. Extremely proud of the boys, they’ve progressed so much this season. Special shoutout to goal scorers Sulley and Ruben, our player mascots and to the Risers Goalkeeper who was voted Player of the Match for multiple saves second half. Risers U12W played their last game of the season against Tankerton U12 Tigers on Saturday. Great start to the game, very positive and pressed the ball well. Risers were on top for most part of the first half and went in half time 0-0. In the second half the game evened out and at times Risers had to deal with pressure but the defence played amazingly well. Unfortunately Risers scored an own goal. This didn’t stop the team, they kept going and for the last 10 minutes they got on top and with only a few minutes to go Jaiden scored an amazing goal from distance, ending up 1-1. The team gave 110%. There were two Player of the Match medals awarded, one voted by the opposition team went to Oliver for brilliant defence and the coaches medal went to Dylan for an outstanding performance in defence. Risers U12 Whites played an on form and second in the league Cheriton United on Saturday. After getting caught cold in the first minute and conceding a goal, the boys battled back showing amazing resilience and teamwork to finish the game loosing 2-1.
